FRIED EGGS: Importance In Human Body

INTRODUCTION :

In our daily life we use fried eggs ,boiled eggs, poached, omelet but
commonly we use fried and over easy. It’s easy to put fried and over-easy into the same
category, but these two actually have a couple distinctions that can make all the
difference in the final taste and texture of your meal.

DIFFERENT WAYS TO USE FRIED EGGS IN DAILY LIFE :

Not to be confused with sunny-side up eggs, which pretty much sit static in
the pan until they’re done cooking, both fried and over-easy versions get flipped.
However, you can start to glean their differences from their names.

1. OVER-EASY FRIED EGGS:

Over-easy eggs are more straightforwardly cooked in any kind of fat, and
depending on what you use, this can significantly alter the texture of your breakfast.

2.FRIED EGGS :

Fried eggs, on the other hand, are intentionally made with one delicious
type of fat: bacon grease. This variation may not be commonplace everywhere (as
over-easy, medium, and hard are all sometimes just lumped together as fried), but in
some families (particularly in the South), you may see this tasty distinction.

COOKING FATS TO EFRIED EGGS:

While there are a couple of cooking fats you can use to fry EGGS, bacon
grease is the number one choice for maximum tastiness. Plus, you’ll likely end up with
tiny pieces of the meat in your eggs, which will majorly amp up their flavor and add
texture.
To make them this way, you’ll first want to cook your bacon on the stove.
and remove the crispy strips without draining the pan. Then crack your eggs right on top
of the existing grease and make them like you normally would — flipping when the
whites are mostly set.
If you don’t want to go quite this hard with your fat, you can also use butter.
which will still place your eggs under the fried umbrella.

USE OF OLIVE AND AVOCADO OIL:

A lighter and more versatile (but arguably less exciting) option, make your
eggs over-easy. Your fat choices are broader here, as you can go with an oil like olive or
avocado, or even an oil-based cooking spray.
This means you won’t end up with quite as rich of a breakfast, and it will
have a smoother texture. However, you can still jazz up your fries by adding some
panko, which will create beautifully crispy golden edges.
To give them the umami flavor they deserve, top them off with grilled
scallions instead. And when you don’t want to drown your whole meal in bacon grease,
but you do still want a delicious texture, deploy a little crispy garlic in the pan under your
eggs.

Cutting Diet , What It Is And How To Follow One:

It’s important to note that a cutting diet should only be followed
under supervision of an appropriate member of a sports performance team or medical
professional, and is not meant to be used for a long-term period to achieve and maintain
weight loss.
A cutting diet uses strict measures to create a calorie deficit for the purposes of
fat loss while stimulating muscle preservation. Cutting body fat while maintaining muscle
requires hitting precise nutrition targets consistently for weeks at a time ( notes Dr.
Dhurandhar).

TIMELINE TO LOSS WEIGHT in FRIED EGGS

While there is no ideal length of time to follow a cutting diet, some research
suggests a minimum of two to four months can produce more optimal weight loss than
shorter, more aggressive timelines.

ATHLETES:

For athletes looking to make weight for a specific upcoming competition, one
study found that MMA athletes average a weight loss of 7% up to 72 hours before an
official weigh-in.
While there are numerous possible ways to cut, a cutting diet could involve the following:
strategies, according to Singer:
Significant dietary caloric restriction
Hydration manipulation techniques such as sauna use
Manipulating stomach contents
Caloric Restriction

WAY TO REDUCE CALORIES:

Having a successful cut is all about reducing calories. Weight-restricted
Athletes or others following a cutting diet must consume fewer calories than needed to
maintain their current body weight, explains Dr. Peacock.
While the degree of calorie restriction during a cut varies from person to
person and could depend on factors—like duration and the goal of the cut, age, gender,
body weight or physical activity status—Paradis suggests restricting calories enough to
lose a little less than 1% of your body weight per week, or a deficit of around 500
calories per day.

Starting a cutting diet should be done gradually, by slowly decreasing caloric
intake rather than making a sudden, drastic cut, adds Matthew Landry, Ph.D.,
dietitian and assistant professor of population health and disease prevention at the
University of California, Irvine. “This helps the body adjust and reduces the risk of
muscle loss,” he explains.

Hydration and Stomach Contents Manipulation:

Hydration manipulation techniques, such as water loading followed by
dehydration, sauna use and reducing sodium intake are used to shed water weight.
explains Dr. Peacock.
These techniques are used by weight-class athletes for rapid weight loss in
the days before competition. Some athletes may attempt to adjust the contents of their
stomach to also manipulate weight before weighing in to qualify for competition.
“Manipulating stomach contents may include reducing fiber intake for several
days leading up to weigh-in, or choosing lower-weight, higher-calorie foods,” adds
Singer.

Hydration and stomach content manipulation should only be done under the
supervision of a sports medicine specialist or sports dietitian and is intended for
weight-class athletes, and not general fitness enthusiasts or the general population.
Generally speaking, “for most individuals, a cutting diet isn’t recommended
unless they are under the guidance of a registered dietitian nutritionist or certified
specialist in sports dietetics,” explains Dr. Landry.

Which Foods Should be Consumed During a Cut?

All foods can fit into a cutting diet, especially if they are within your daily
calorie targets, experts note. Still, some types of foods have certain macronutrients
should be prioritized while attempting a cutting diet to preserve muscle mass during a
state of strict caloric restriction.

“It’s important for people to focus less on ‘what to cut out,’” suggests Antonio
Miranda, Ph.D., a dietitian and health consultant based in Texas.
“Rather, we should focus on what to add to our daily routine.” Protein at every meal,
filling fats and non-starchy vegetables are staples of a cutting diet, he adds.

Lean Proteins:

To maintain muscle mass and avoid muscle being used as energy during a
cutting diet, it’s critical to eat more protein.Preserving calories while selecting
nutrient-dense, high-quality protein choices is ideal. Protein options for a weight-cutting

diet can include a range of lean sources, such as:

Chicken breast
Turkey
Fish like salmon, tuna, cod or tilapia
Eggs
Pork tenderloin
Ground beef sirloin
Dairy products, including Greek yogurt, cottage cheese and milk
Soy
“In many cases, individuals may utilize protein shakes between meals to help hit higher
daily needs in the form of a lower calorie source,” adds Singer.
“Calorie deficits can be challenging on the body from both a physiological and
psychological perspective,” explains Dr. Landry. “Cheat meals” and “refeed days” often
serve as a break when someone has been sticking to their more rigid cutting diet, he adds.

CHEAT MEAL:

A cheat meal refers to taking a mental break from your routine to eat whatever
sounds good to you at the time, adds Paradis. Cheat meals can be planned to allow for
some flexibility in food choice when engaging in social situations with family or friends.
A refeed typically refers to a higher-calorie meal or day with an emphasis on
higher carbohydrate intake with a purpose to mentally and physically recharge from a
restricted diet routine, adds Paradis.

“In (MMA) fighters, we refer to these as ‘refueling’ days, which involve
significantly increased carbohydrate intake to replenish glycogen stores, boost
metabolism and prevent fatigue, typically occurring once every 10 days,” notes Dr.
Peacock.

Paradis explains you can cheat or refeed as often as you want. “If you’re
By weighing yourself a few times a week and recording it, you’ll see if it’s hurting your
progress or not.”

Viewing cheat meals as a free-for-all, however, can slow down fat loss considerably.
explains Dr. Dhurandhar. “It is important that even cheat meals are carefully planned to
be within your cutting-calorie targets,” she adds.
